Karen Rivers Watch is a network of Karen people of Burma working for environmental and natural resources protection in Karen State.

Damming at Gunpoint

The report providing the information of how the Burma military regime securing the Salween River in Karen State by conducting military offensive to get rid out Karen National Union in the area. The consequence of these offensive led to the Fall of KNU's headquarter Manerplaw and thousands of Karen fled to Thailand, where over 8,000 people stayed in the jungle surviving as Internally Displaced persons (IDPs).
